Forms are set to final grade and we lay #4 rebar on 16-inch centers (or fiber-reinforced mix where specified) over a compacted aggregate base for load capacity and crack control.

We pour 4 inches minimum, screed level, and apply your chosen finish — broom, exposed aggregate, or stamped. In summer heat we pour early and use curing compound to prevent surface scaling.

Control joints & cure
Control joints are saw-cut within 24 hours to direct cracking, then the slab cures. We ask you to keep vehicles off for 7 days and heavy loads off for 30.
